It was fun to set up the bed, it was like doing an activity with my wife and daughter, but we couldn't finish the installation. 1 piece was missing. Instructions are inadequate

The instructions got me most of the way through but there's so many missing steps on where to insert screws and drill holes. There's some steps that include that but there's no instructions for all of them and I struggled with connecting the angles and had to test on a few scrap pieces first.
